Mychael Dave and Kato Crews Serve on Panel for “Black Like Me” Event at UNC

Continuing with Hoffman Crews Nies Waggener & Foster's strong commitment to community, Partners Mychael Dave and Kato Crews volunteered their time on April 21, 2015, to serve on a panel of Black professionals at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC). The event, titled "Black Like Me," included a panel discussion comprised of successful Black professionals from various industries, including law, medicine, education, private business, and government. The purpose of the event was to provide students with the opportunity to connect and learn from Black professionals about how to navigate and gain real world career experience.
Founded in 1889 as the State Normal School, today UNC offers more than 200 undergraduate, graduate, and extended campus and online programs. UNC has also been designated as a doctorate-granting / research university by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. Mr. Crews is an alumnus of UNC and currently serves on its Board of Trustees. Mr. Dave is a long-time volunteer and supporter of UNC's students and programs.
