Hoffman Crews Nies Waggener & Foster LLP is proud to announce that its partner, Kato Crews, will be the keynote speaker at the opening retreat of the 2015 Colorado Bar Association Leadership Training (COBALT) program.  The opening retreat, which takes place from January 15 - 17, will focus on the theme of getting to know your authentic leadership self, and will focus on how self-awareness is important for leaders.

The mission of COBALT is to enhance, promote and inspire the leadership of the legal profession.  COBALT brings together lawyers from different practice areas with a variety of experiences from across Colorado.  These lawyers are acknowledged leaders of the profession and their communities.  COBALT builds upon their leadership skills and promotes new leadership experiences through a six-month, interactive leadership training program.

Mr. Crews has been fondly viewed as a COBALT-sage.  He's a graduate of the inaugural 2007 COBALT class, and served on the COBALT Programs Committee in 2008.  He then served as the COBALT Gathering Facilitator for each class from 2009 – 2013.  Affectionately referred to by COBALT alumni as the "COBALT Whisperer," Mr. Crews led "The Gathering" of the COBALT class after each programming session during his stint as the Gathering Facilitator.
