Hoffman Crews Nies Waggener & Foster LLP proudly announces that its Partner, Kato Crews, was appointed by the Governor to the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees consists of nine members and is the governing authority for the University of Northern Colorado.

Seven members are appointed by the Governor of the State of Colorado for 4 year terms. The eighth member is a member of UNC's faculty at large elected by the faculty at large for a term of one year. The ninth member of the Board is a full-time junior or senior student at UNC elected by the student body.

Crews obtained his undergraduate degree from UNC in 1997. He received UNC's Distinguished Young Alumni Award from UNC in 2010.
